Just as hip-hop itself is inseparable from its birthplace in the Bronx, every aspiring MC is
eternally connected to the neighborhood they grew up in. "Keys 2 the City" explores the
bond between community and MC's by following them to the barbershops, BBQ joints,
basketball courts, swap meets and schoolyards that shaped them into the artists we
admire today. Over the next 8 weeks (from December 1st to February 1st), fans will get
to know the MC's, DJ's, OG's and architects of an LA hip-hop scene poised to jump from
regional to national notoriety.
